Sam Smith has cancelled their sell-out show in Glasgow tonight, much to the disappointment of fans.
Smith is currently embarking on their Gloria tour and was set to head to Scotland this weekend.
However, just hours before they were due to appear on stage Sam announced they wouldn’t be performing as they’re feeling ‘really unwell’ - but they have already shared a new date and said tickets will remain valid.

In a post on Instagram Stories, the 'Stay with Me' singer wrote: "Sailors. I’m so sorry to say but we have to reschedule the Glasgow show to May 25, 2022.
“Myself and a lot of my team have been hit with a virus, that’s made us really unwell.
“I want to give you the best version of Gloria the tour and at the moment that’s not possible. It was also really important to me that we had another date to move this to straight away.
“We will celebrate Gloria together. All previous tickets are still valid for the new date.

“All my love, Sam.”
Some fans took to social media to express their disappointment over the cancellation, with one writing: “Was due to see @samsmith tomorrow night in Glasgow and they have rescheduled last minute, lose the money paid for the hotel.”
Another said: “Honestly, I have no words! We are still going to Glasgow it's a canny weekend but like you'd be massively disappointed!"

While a third commented: “Flying up to Glasgow to see @samsmith for tomorrow night .. just cancelled while we are sitting on the plane.”
Others sent their well-wishes to the singer and told Sam to ‘get well soon’.
The 30-year-old singer kicked off their tour earlier this month, wearing a headline-grabbing devil-themed ensemble, complete with horns, pitchfork and some pretty bloody incredible thigh-skimming boots.

The OTT outfit wasn’t appreciated by everyone, and some folks took to social media to question whether it was appropriate attire to wear in front of potentially-young concert goers.
However, others pointed out that female celebrities often wear far more revealing outfits for performances and no one bats an eyelid.
Earlier this year (11 April), Sam donned a similarly unique outfit to the BRIT awards.
And let's just say the fit ruffled some feathers.

A spokesperson for Ofcom told MailOnline: "We received 106 complaints about the BRIT Awards on ITV1.
"The majority of complaints related to Sam Smith's performance, with the remainder about the use of offensive language and consumption of alcohol."
