A TikToker has spoken out after people laid into her husband for smashing cake into her face at their wedding.
Now. There are many traditions when it comes to wedding the love of your life, from wearing white, to getting something old, new, borrowed and blue. There's also the classic throwing of a chaotic stag and hen party before you commit to a life of staying in on a Saturday, ordering a takeaway becoming your 'wild night' and watching Countryfile every Sunday afternoon - I'm not judging, I do this anyway despite being 22 years old and very much single.
However, if smashing wedding cake in each other's faces is becoming a tradition? Count me out.

It's a fun idea, but think of all the time you spent on your hair and make-up and the money you dolled out on your dress.
The concept of wedding day cake-smushing has indeed been met with mixed reviews as a result of a bride posting a video of her husband shoving icing all over her face onto TikTok.
On Monday, 7 November, Jade Kennedy took the platform in celebration of officially becoming Mrs Price.

The video shows her beau striding resolutely towards the pair's gorgeous, flower-covered wedding cake, cutting a slice and cupping it in his hand before chasing Jade to the corner of the room.
As she tries to get away from her new husband, he goes for it, smushing the cake into the side of her face and hair, the pair ending up falling to the ground.
One of the wedding's guests quickly comes over with a napkin, but cake and pink icing on a white dress? Without the power of Vanish, I'm not sure there's much hope.

Jade's caption to the video reads: "It’s official we’re mr and mrs price. he got me back for doing it to him good and propa. love my ar**hole of a husband all the world."
However, despite her joking tone, it would appear her followers were slightly concerned and angered by her husband's actions as the TikToker quickly turned the comments off.
Despite Jade turning the comments off, some followers flew to her previous video to weigh in on the cake-face-smashing.
One said: "I hope you're ok. you looked stunning on your wedding day and if you're happy thats all that matters."

"Girl........ what are you thinking? that was a red flag," another wrote.
A third said: "Why won't you let us comment on him smearing cake on your face ... having you fall over in your beautiful dress... did he apologise."
However, Jade responded fiercely, resolving: "No he didn’t I’m he’s wife he has no need to apologise over me and him having some fun on our wedding day! Mind ur own business!"
