We all know that any given family trip can come with a load of hidden extra costs but one woman was in for the shock of her life after forking out thousands upon thousands in just one day.
Mum Summer Reign Herring took to TikTok to share the eye-watering cost of a single family day out at Disney World.

She told her 1.7 million followers the whole ordeal was 'robbery in broad daylight' after running through each and every cost that amounted to the grand total at the end of the day.
The mum began the short clip: "So here's how much we spent at Disney, day two of five."
The overlay text read 'Tickets + Lightning Lane $870 (£716)' while some Mickey House headbands weighed in at $130 (£107).

Already off to a costly start.
"A mediocre breakfast at Hollywood and Vine cost us $223 (£184)," Summer went on while she showed clips of a pretty bog-standard buffet fry-up situation complete with scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon.
She continued: "Then he headed over to Toy Story Land and even with lightning Lane was still only got to write one ride."
In case you're not clued up on your Disney World jargon - Lightning Lane queuing basically just allows for a shorter wait time for each ride.

The snacks were a small fortune with ice-cream coming in at $25 (£21) and popcorn at a pricey $16 (£13).
"Then over at Galaxy's Edge, three lightsabers cost us a whopping $800 (£658)," Summer revealed.
"They also no longer hold them for you until the end of the day plus different airlines have different restrictions when flying home so we opted to ship them to us for an additional cost."

That additional shipping cost was $40 (£33) by the way.
Every single ride apparently had '120-minute wait signs' Summer explained, before adding: "So we only got to ride one ride in this section of the park as well."
"We tried out the infamous blue and green milk," she went on which came in at $27 (£22) before an $80 (£66) lunch and some funnel cakes for dessert for $44 (£36).

A photo pass was an extra $170 (£140) for 'cell-phone quality pictures'.
Before dinner, the mum picked up some lollipop and candyfloss 'treats' for $25 (£21).
"And finally we had dinner at Planet Hollywood," which was a staggering $311 (£256).
Summer concluded the video: "Factoring in our nightly hotel rate of $997 (£820) brings our total to $3,758 (£3,092) for today."
Yikes.
"Robbery in broad daylight," the mum captioned the TikTok. "And we still have 2 more parks to go."
Unsurprisingly, social media users couldn't wait to share their reaction to the rundown, with one TikTok user writing: "You spent $250 PER lightsaber??? I cant feel bad if you’re willing to do that."
"Rename this to 'how to do Disney with zero research and pay as much as possible'," hit out a second.
A third quipped: "Soooo many mistakes in the planning. No reason to spend on food like that."
"You can do Disney way way way cheaper than that," declared a fourth.
Others, however, were more understanding.
"People in the comments talking like it’s their money," penned one TikTok user. "Do what you want. I was only able to do two parks and Sea World on my four-day trip and spent 5k."
A second added: "We went last year! A family of 4 and we spent close to 8k for five days!! Smh!"
A third chimed in: "All the people complaining about how she is spending HER money that SHE works hard for she could spend it on whatever she wants."
Summer also issued a follow-up comment after posting the video, explaining to viewers: "I appreciate all the tips but I purposely wasn’t sparing any expenses.
"It’s my bonus son's birthday weekend. We also got to ride everything at Magic Kingdom yesterday so it balanced out."
What do you make of it?
