The father of Prince Andrew's accuser has issued his response to the devastating news following her claims that she has only 'days to live' after an accident.
Earlier this week, Virginia Giuffre - who accused Andrew of having sexually abused her when she was a minor - took to Instagram to share an image of herself lying in bed, having sustained a number of injuries.
"This year has been the worst start to a new year," the mother-of-three penned in the caption.

"But I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can."

Giuffre, 41, added: "I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology.
"I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes.

"S**T in one hand and wish in the other & I guarantee it’s still going to be s**t at the end of the day."
She continued: "Thank you all for being the wonderful people of the world and for being a great part of my life.
"Godbless you all xx Virginia."

In response to her post, Giuffre’s father Sky Roberts wrote: "Virginia my daughter, I love you and praying for you to get the correct treatment to live a long and healthy life. If there is anything in this world I can do to help you, please let me know.
"My spirit with you now and holding your hand."
Giuffre went public with her claims that she had been trafficked to the Royal by convicted child abusers Jeffrey Epstein, who died in jail in 2019, and Ghislaine Maxwell.
She previously claimed she was 'forced to have sex' with the Duke of York between 2000 and 2002 at Epstein's New York apartment when she was 17 years old, also accusing the now-65-year-old Prince of 'battery'.
In 2022, Giuffre and Andrew reached a financial settlement, putting an end to the civil claim she filed in the US and preventing him of ever having to go to trial.

Andrew later pledged to 'demonstrate his regret for his association with Epstein', claiming he'd made a 'substantial donation' to Giuffre's charity.
Following her settlement with Andrew three years ago, a statement was released, reading: "The parties will file a stipulated dismissal upon Ms Giuffre’s receipt of the settlement (the sum of which is not being disclosed).
"Prince Andrew intends to make a substantial donation to Ms Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights. Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms Giuffre’s character, and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks.
"It is known that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked countless young girls over many years. Prince Andrew regrets his association with Epstein, and commends the bravery of Ms Giuffre and other survivors in standing up for themselves and others.
