He went on to describe his late wife, who he tied the knot with back in 1991, as his 'most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career'.
"She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes," he continued.
The couple's children, Harrison and Annabelle, also shared a tribute adding 'her love and happiness carried us through our whole lives'.

"Mum is our best friend and we're honoured to have received a love like hers," they added.
Davis, who played a goblin in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, carried on: "With her by my side, I was sure I could achieve anything, it was like having a super-power.
"Without Sammy, there would have been no Tenable quiz show, no Willow series. No Idiot Abroad Series 3.
"She was passionate about helping people, without judgment. She had time for everyone and a genuine listening ear."

"Condolences to all of them. To lose a wife and a mum. Samantha... Godspeed on your next great journey."
A second offered: "This is so sad. Met both Warwick and Samantha Davis, and they both seemed wonderful. Can't imagine the pain he is going through."

And, a final user added: "So so sad and still so young. Thoughts go out to Warwick and the family."
Sammy had achondroplasia, a bone growth disorder that causes disproportionate dwarfism.
Like her husband, she was also an actor best known for her roles in Through the Dragon's Eye, ShortFellas and Honky Sausages.
She even had an uncredited role alongside her husband back in 1988 in the fantasy-adventure flick, Willow.
