Everyone knows a family dog is more than just a pet. But a woman was stunned after a man she matched with on Bumble had a pretty shocking reaction when she told him her family pooch of 10 years had died.
You can watch the video below:
In the clip, @poppyadams92 explained how she had sent her match a message, telling him that her family dog had recently passed away and explaining she may have to rearrange their date.

"I had some really sad and horrible news today, which means I might be going home to my parents house in Essex on Tuesday," she said.
"I'll keep you posted."
Initially, the date responded to say: "Oh no... family grievance?" To which Poppy responded: "My doggy."
But her match's next message was truly shocking.

"Plenty more dogs in the sea," he said.
We are shook.
And other followers couldn't believe how insensitive he had been, with one writing: "Biggest [red flag] I’ve ever seen! Sorry for your loss."

While another said: "Nooooo never speak to him again."
And a third added: "Red flag! The good ones would understand the loss of a family pet."
Meanwhile a fourth commented: "Plenty more men tooo!"
And a fifth said: "No no no no. clearly does not get dogs or owning a dog. not worth the risk."

While a sixth added: "When I tell you my jaw DROPPED."
In other relationship news, last week we told you how one woman's Hinge match applied for their date with his CV - and people are loving it.
The woman, who goes by @blondebrokeandbougie on TikTok, revealed how she jokingly requested her match apply for a date by sending over a CV - and she was blown away when he actually did.

In the video, Becca shares her initial conversation with the man in which she requested he 'present his credentials' to be in with the chance of a date.
Following along with the joke, the man asked for her email address and sent a full resume, with the headline "charming single man".
We're just loving this commitment! You can read the full story here.
