It used to be that you’d have a bit of trepidation as you fake tanned your face. But thankfully sunless tanners and face tanning products have come on leaps and bounds since then. With shoppers calling this facial tanner a ‘game changer’ and ‘amazing,’ it is one of the most impressive on the market right now. And a lot of it has to do with the ingredients that have been used.

First there’s hyaluronic acid, which deeply moisturises and hydrates the skin. There are also two other nourishing ingredients, Aquaderm ® SP, which has soothing and calming properties, as well. And organic rose water derived from Damask rose petals, that plumps the skin, adding a lovely radiance to it.

And finally there’s a bit of a wonder ingredient, niacinamide (also known as vitamin B3), which helps to improve uneven skin tone, diminish dullness and minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving you the perfect base for the self tanner to adhere to.

The tan itself is delivered by DHA, the active ingredient in most tanning products, which is known for its effective ability to darken skin, without it needing to be exposed to any harmful UV rays.

According to the brand, ‘the tan will develop over 4-8 hours,’ with each individual being able to build up the desired depth of colour simply by spraying additional layers.

And even though it is designed specifically for the face, there’s nothing to stop you from carrying it down onto the neck and decolletage to give you that flawlessly tanned finish.
