Last night's episode of Love Island saw Ekin-Su and Davide go on their tear-jerking final date where the popular couple confessed their love for one another.
The incredible date featured a performance from English tenor Alfie Boe, and while she clearly loved it, Ekin-Su didn't know who he was. Watch a clip from the emotional final date below:
Ekin-Su made this known when she returned to the villa, telling the other islanders that her date had featured a performance from some 'guy called Alfie Boe'.

Now, the singer himself has joking responded to her on Twitter.
The English musical theatre star, 48, joked alongside laughing emoji: "Hi… @ekinsuofficial. I'm the 'guy called Alfie Boe'."
The singer's tweet went down a storm with fans on the social media website.

One joked: "Lolol I laughed my head off at 'a singer called Alfie Boe' omg @ekinsuofficial, you've never lived if you don't know this guy and his tremendous voice hah.
"Thank you again @AlfieBoe for getting me and my hubby in bits with that rendition of 'Nessum Dorma', our ultimate fav song xx [sic]."
"That was priceless," wrote a second. "Some guy called pause Alfie Boe... You couldn't make it up."
"Alfie, you were fabulous, you made the date so special. Well done," added a third while a fourth said: "My favourite couple on love island and they were so honoured having you. The best romantic date ever on love island [sic]."

But while Alfie's fans thought Ekin-Su had never lived, others said that her emotional reaction to the singer's music was a testament to his talent itself.
"One can appreciate the music & be touched by a song without knowing the artist," wrote one viewer. "That in itself is a compliment to the artist and their musical gift."
However, while Ekin-Su might have been left overwhelmed by her magical date with Davide (and Alfie!), not everyone appeared to react positively to it.

After recounting the details again, Gemma said 'oh she's off again' about Ekin-Su, which did not go down with some viewers.
"Gemma's little snide comments are really starting to do my head in," wrote one viewer. "Can she never be happy for anyone?"
A second questioned "Why is Gemma so sour with Ekin-Su? Just be happy for her!"

However, some people did jump to Gemma's defence and said the remark was her dry sense of humour coming to the fore.
"I think Gemma is massively miss understood," wrote another viewer. "She’s just hella sarcastic with a really dry sense of humour. Not everyone has to be super emotional. She just doesn't fake who she is [and] I love her for it."
