"This is your last chance. It's either her; sad olive girl who gets everything wrong; or me, the woman who's so perfect for you."
Iconic. It's been 15 years since Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging hit cinemas, and I could still quote the majority of the film for you today.
Star Georgia Groome proved instantly relatable to young girls everywhere as she took on the role of Georgia Nicholson and dealt with everything from eyebrow plucking disasters and embarrassing parents, to best friend fall-outs and boy troubles.
The 2008 movie was based on the book Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging, which was the first of ten books in the 'Confessions of Georgia Nicolson' series - meaning Georgia went through a lot of adventures and disasters that we didn't get to see in the film.

I'm sure there'd be more than enough for a sequel, and I can pretty much guarantee that people would be queuing up to see what awkward situation Georgia gets herself in to next, but unfortunately the star of the movie isn't so keen.
Groome reflected on her time on the set during an appearance on Sunday Brunch a few years ago, where she described the experience as being 'like a playground'.
Any job with that description is surely great fun, right?
Well maybe not, as Groome explained that she 'wouldn't necessarily go back'.

"It was a lot of kissing…," she said. "They were gonna do [a sequel] at the time, but I don't think anybody really would have done it. Angus was nice, but I don't think a second one would have been worth it, so we were quite glad we didn't have to go back."
Groome's lack of enthusiasm about the film disappointed viewers, with some taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on her response.
"Well Georgia didn't sound very grateful for the role in 'Angus' the film that probably got her career started," one person wrote.

Another commented: "How bored did Georgia Groome look on #SundayBrunch? Like be grateful that you were in Angus Thongs, it was your first top film!"
Given that she's now 31 years old (feel old yet?), it admittedly might be a bit odd for Groome to return to the role of the awkward teenager.
It's sad news, but at least we can cheer ourselves up - and momentarily forget how old we are - with a rewatch of the original film.
