It’s almost Christmas, which means it’s finally socially acceptable to spend every evening on the run-up to the big day snuggled up on the sofa watching festive rom-coms.
And one ‘cheesy’ new Christmas movie has been dubbed as a must-see by Netflix viewers:
Christmas With You has recently landed on the streaming site, and it’s safe to say that fans are pretty pleased with how Christmassy they’re left feeling after watching.

The synopsis for the film reads: “Feeling career burnout, pop star Angelina escapes to grant a young fan's wish in small town New York, where she not only finds the inspiration to revitalize her career but also a shot at true love.”
Played by Aimee Garcia, the musician is feeling pressure to come up with the latest festive song. So, in a bid to feel more connected to her listeners, Angelina vows to meet her biggest fan, Cristina (played by Deja Monique Cruz).
Cristina also hopes to help out her father (Freddie Prinze Jr.) to head back into the dating world after previously not striking much luck.

And when Angelia shows up at Cristina’s door in New York, she might have found the love she was looking for to inspire her Christmas track.
Fans are delighted to be divulging in the Christmas spirit with the film, even if it is a little cliché.

Prinze J.r, who is known for his roles in I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and She’s All That (1999), has said in a recent interview that he was ‘nervous’ to return to the movie scene since his five-year hiatus.
He told Tudum about returning to his acting career in Christmas With You: “As nervous as I was getting back into making movies, I couldn’t have picked a more lovely film or a more perfect group to work with.
