Harry Potter fans are ‘so glad’ that a bizarre scene was deleted from the finished version of the movie.
You don't need to be the biggest Potter fan in the world to appreciate how weird this scene is. Check it out below:
The clip is from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, where the wizarding school welcomes the Durmstrang Institute and Beauxbatons Academy of Magic to compete in the Triwizard Tournament.

Filmed in the infamous Hogwarts Great Hall, the students opt to welcome the two other institutions with their official school song - that no one knew about.
To make matters worse, the jingle is called 'Hoggy Warty Hogwarts' and it really is quite bizarre.
The pupils start by singing: "Whether we be old and bald or young with scabby knees", and "for now they’re bare and full of hair, dead flies and bits of fluff."

Students from the other schools look utterly shellshocked and so does Draco Malfoy.
Viewers went as far as thinking the sing-song was Malfoy's 'motivation to join Voldemort'.
"It’s Draco looking like he’s in utter hell and crabbe having the time of his life for me," one Potter fan commented.

A second viewer added: "Draco has the only realistic reaction to something like this happening irl."
"Draco was about to jump off the window," another person thought.
One TikToker was just 'so glad they didn't put this in the movies'.
Well, sorry to break it to you, but if you watch an extended version, perhaps on the telly, it seems that Hoggy Warty Hogwarts scene will still be there waiting for you.

Another person added: "That was definitely cut lmfao tho it does explain the interview where dan was mad that the schools had cool entrances and they had this."
Someone else said: "Deff don’t remember this lol and I was obsessed with Harry Potter. I passed down my stuff to my oldest now. I’ll check the DVD and VHS."
Meanwhile, a different viewer reckoned: "Yes. For the tv versions, they added them back in. It might just be part of the director’s cut."

Another added: "Lmao in the books Dumbledore has them all pick their favourite tune and everyone finishes at diff times. The Weasley twins chose a funeral march."
Above all, the fact most likely to worry you is that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire came out over 18 years ago.
Feel old yet?
