Ikenna let slip that the Islanders know exactly who Gemma's famous father is – football star Michael Owen – after discovering the family connection 'on the second or third day'.
The 23-year-old pharmaceutical salesperson spilled the beans after he was asked about getting a foot massage from Gemma as part of a game of dares. He responded: "Do you know what's mad? We didn't really know until like the second or third day, but I don't think the girls knew that the guys knew".
Now fans are convinced that Luca set his sights on Gemma because of her well-known dad.
One viewer posted: "Ohhhhhhh so the guys knew from the 2nd 3rd day that she is Michael Owen’s daughter! That’s why Luca is obsessed".

"I knew Luca knew about Gemma’s dad," one person theorised.
Another Love Island fanatic added: "So the boys/everyone found out who's Gemma's dad is and just so happened to be the day luca became interested in Gemma".
In case you have forgotten, the public had the power to vote for the Islanders they wanted to see coupled up in the first episode and Luca was coupled up with Paige Thorne.

However things were not meant to be between the pair and on the fifth day – the first instance when the Islanders could choose who to couple up with – Luca picked Gemma.
Gemma was paired with Liam Llewellyn by the public but Davide Sanclimenti chose to steal her.
In other Love Island news, fans are obsessed with Amber Pickford's response to a question about Dami Hope and Indiyah Pollack's quickly blossoming relationship.
The nanny from London claimed she had been having 'proper snogs in bed' with Dami despite pulling Indiyah for multiple chats.

When asked by host Laura Whitmore about the couple, Amber quipped: "They could have waited till we at least had our water bottles out of there".
