Jacques O'Neill is officially back home in the UK after leaving the Love Island villa, according to his mum, who shared an emotional post to social media following his return.
The 23-year-old rugby player made the difficult decision to exit the ITV reality series in Tuesday (12 July) night's episode, after a difficult few days.
Not 24 hours after the emotional episode aired, Jacques' mum Janet Wright confirmed that her son had made it home safe and sound, sharing a fan-created TikTok video to her Instagram account, compiling some of his best moments with fellow Islander and bff Luca Bish. You can watch that here.
Set to the lyrics of Kodaline's song 'Brother', the video was simply captioned: "He is home."

Janet, who has been posting and interacting with fans since Jacques first set foot in the villa, also confirmed that her son will be back on social media from as early as this Thursday (14 July).
Fans flooded the comment section of Janet's post to wish her son all the best as he takes some time to work on himself.
Fans of the show watched Jacques announce his plans to the other Islanders and tell his romantic connection Paige Thorne that he needs some time to get back to feeling like himself.
He had a rocky final night in the villa, after ultimate bombshell Adam Collard made his grand return to the series and immediately started to show an interest in Paige.

Things took a dramatic turn when Jacques learned that Adam had been speaking about him behind his back, and demanded that Paige told him what had been said.
When he had cooled off, Paige calmly told Jacques that behaviour like that is what she had been asking him to 'work on', and later told cameras in the beach hut that she has no interest in being someone's mum.
The morning after Jacques's explosive scene, he tearfully told Paige that he would be leaving the villa for good, adding that he hoped to see her soon on the outside.
While some viewers were left wondering why Paige didn't leave the villa by Jacques' side, others are glad to see the couple go their separate ways and watch Paige continue her journey solo.

This week wasn't the first time that fans had seen a worrying side to Jacques' behaviour towards Paige, and some of the other Islanders.
The Cumbria local came under fire from viewers when he strayed from Paige during Casa Amor last week, kissing Cheyanne and hinting that he would couple up with her.
When Cheyanne called out Jacques after he decided to couple up with Paige again, Jacques failed to apologise for his behaviour.

Responding to the backlash Jacques had received from viewers at the time, his family announced on social media that he had been diagnosed with ADHD when he was nine years old and can "fundamentally struggle with his emotions at times".
It continued: "He is an amazing person who I'm proud to call my friend/little brother.
"All the hate thrown towards Jacques doesn't go to him directly….It comes to his loved ones who have always supported him and not just whilst he is on Love Island.
"Love Island, although real, is still a show where the producers do have control and we see 45 minutes out of the 1,440 in 24 hours. Please be kind."
