The mum of Love Island star Jacques O'Neill is asking social media users to stop sending her 'nasty' messages about her son.
Janet Wright took to Instagram in response to people accusing her son of being a 'bully'.
She shared an old picture with Jacques on a rugby pitch and wrote in the caption: "People sending nasty messages to me please can you stop it does hurt thank you".
Janet’s post comes after former Islander Remi Lambert claimed Jacques ‘ruined’ his Love Island experience, claiming he was involved in ‘a lot of arguments’ with Jacques which were not shown on the ITV2 series.

Remi was interviewed alongside another dumped bombshell, Afia Tonkmor, on the podcast Reality with Will Njobvu.
“There was a lot of stuff that wasn’t aired, lots of stuff that went on,” Remi told the podcast.
“Basically, me and Jacques got into quite a lot of arguments, it made my experience s**t, it ruined it for me.
“People were saying it was because he has a rugby persona, but you can’t treat anyone like that."

He continued: "He was just trying to get on to me, being like 'My name’s Remi, I’m hard, I’m from Manny.'
"It was constant, it was so jarring, but I was the only one to stick up for myself, he would always do that to people."
ITV declined to comment when contacted by Tyla.

Another concerned fan replied: "Hope you are all ok! He’s doing amazing in Love Island. Don’t let anyone put you down. Xx".
One interaction between Remi and Jacques that was aired on the show was filmed on Remi's first night in the villa, after entering as a bombshell alongside Jay Younger.
As the Islanders fired questions at the new arrivals, Remi revealed he's a rapper and Jacques quickly urged him to 'spit some bars.'
