The Love Island contestants recently had their relationships put to the test during an explosive movie night that revealed all about Casa Amor.
This saw multiple apparent discrepancies take place, which Luca appeared to enjoy watching until it was time for his relationship with Gemma to be put to the test. Things are set to heat up even more in tonight's episode:
This did not go down well with fans of the show, who took particular umbrage with Luca saying 'Tasha who?' after encouraging her now-boyfriend Andrew to crack on with another girl during Casa Amor.

One wrote: "I'm not Tasha's biggest fan but Luca's behaviour towards her - screaming 'Tasha who?' repeatedly with his chest, shouting encouragingly during Andrew's clip, even trying to drag her while she's in tears is starting to border on bullying no?"
Fans were also not happy with Luca's reaction to Gemma's apparent flirting with Billy when the pair are not in an official relationship.
"Imagine if Tasha kept saying 'Luca who?' during the clips of Billy and Gemma. Luca thrives of others misery but can't take anything his self," remarked another fan.

Now, his family have apologised on his behalf 'for his insensitive reaction on last night's episode.'
They wrote: "I know that when he watches it back, he will be embarrassed and deeply apologetic.
"We as his family don't condone his behaviour last night, but we do understand that he is in an intense environment where his emotions are heightened.
"Last night was not reflective of the boy we all know and love at home."

Luca's family then slammed fans of the show who had overstepped the mark with their reactions to his behaviour and explained that they have now turned off comments on his social media.
They did, however, thank those who reached out to check in on his nearest and dearest after the episode.
While Luca's family have apologised, his treatment of Tasha is likely to also come under scrutiny again tonight after the first look revealed that he said she was riding on Andrew's coattails to advance in the show.

In fact, there's been so much drama in this year's season that some fans think there's actually been too much.
One wrote after tonight's first look: "This season may have been the most entertaining & funniest, but I lowkey think producers put 'too much' drama lol
"[Two] weeks to go & ALL the couples are either 'not solid', or in utter shambles [sic]."
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9 pm.
