Phoebe Dynevor has confirmed she will not be returning for Bridgerton season 3.
The actress, 27, appeared in both the first two seasons of the Netflix adaptation as Daphne Bridgerton, but has today announced she won't be featuring in the third.

Speaking to Screen Rant at the Sundance Festival, Phoebe explained that while she may feature in future seasons, she won't be in the next and will instead be enjoying the show 'as a viewer'.
When asked if there were any exciting moments coming up for Daphne, she said: "Sadly not in season three.
"Potentially in the future. But in season three, I'm just excited to watch as a viewer."
Phoebe had a leading role in the first season of Bridgerton, which follows her character Daphne as she navigates the 'marriage market' of 1813.

In the first season, Daphne - as the eldest daughter of the Bridgerton family - faces pressure to follow in her parent's footsteps by finding a true love match.
As her older brother rules out each and every one of her potential suitors, the mysterious Lady Whistledown (Julie Andrews) - who narrates the dramas around London's high society in a Gossip Girl style 'scandal sheet' - begins to cast aspersions on Daphne.
After meeting Simon, Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page) - a committed bachelor - the pair strike a mutually beneficial deal to pretend to be engaged. But things take a (very) steamy turn when sparks fly between the pair.

Phoebe also made an appearance in the second season, which focussed on her older brother Anthony (played by Jonathan Bailey).
Meanwhile, season 3 will focus on another Bridgerton sibling.
Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington - and the secret character Lady Whistledown - has previously revealed that season 3 will tell the story of Penelope and Colin Bridgerton.

Confirming the future plot and discussing future plans for the series at Netflix’s FYSEE Space, Nicola said: “Like Lady Whistledown, I have been keeping a secret for quite some time and I can confirm to you all that Season 3 is Colin and Penelope’s love story.
“I have kept that secret since two weeks into season 2. This is the first time I am saying it here.”
Bridgerton season 3 is currently in production, and is expected to hit our screens at some point later this year.
