People all around the globe celebrated Bridgerton Day yesterday (16 May) as the first part of the all-new third season finally dropped.
Netflix viewers were buzzing for their latest fix of the beloved period drama which stars the likes of Nicola Coughlan, Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Luke Newton and Adjoa Andoh.
However, many fans were left absolutely fuming for the exact same reason due to the 'cliffhanger' ending of part one.
Namely, they were pretty miffed about how long they've now got to wait for the second part of the series after rattling through the first part in a single sitting.

Many rushed to social media to share their pain with one X, formerly Twitter, user writing: "Just finished Bridgerton S3 Part 1……..no one talk to me, I’m NOT ok, it was so good I’m crying……and I have to wait till next month for the rest of the season…..this is so unfair."
A second hit out: "You mean to tell me I have to wait for part 2 for another month after that cliffhanger????? #BRIDGERTON #BridgertonSeason3."
"Watching Bridgerton season 3 part 1 all at once and remembering we have another 28 days until part 2," penned a third while a fourth piped up: "GIVE ME PART 2 RIGHT NOW!"

Well, the countdown has clearly commenced with many fans of the TV show eagerly awaiting the release of the second part which will drop on Netflix next month (13 June).
Coughlan, who plays Penelope, previously revealed what viewers can expect from the next series, as we focus on her character’s relationship with Colin (Newton).
Speaking about what's to come at Netflix’s FYSEE Space way back in 2022, Coughlan said: "Like Lady Whistledown, I have been keeping a secret for quite some time and I can confirm to you all that Season 3 is Colin and Penelope’s love story.
"I have kept that secret since two weeks into Season 2. This is the first time I am saying it here."

In a recent interview with Tyla, Nicola also admitted she found the prospect of stepping centre stage with her very own romantic storyline ‘terrifying’.
The star noted 'a lot of people will relate to' her character, explaining: "I think she's someone who feels invisible and I think anyone that's ever felt like that is going to really connect to the story."
But what did she warn us? There’s a 'cliffhanger midway' too.

"So, there's two parts, and I'm very excited,” she said.
