Viewers have watched Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) grow up on screen for the past four seasons, and while the youngster was seriously innocent when we first met her in season one, people were still pretty shocked when they realised just how young she really was.

During an interview for the new season, Millie, 18, and Noah, 17, were left shell-shocked when they were informed of Eleven's age.
Millie was particularly concerned when she calculated that her character would have been 'making out with Mike at 13' in an earlier season.
After the clip was shared on TikTok, fans took to the comment section to discuss the shocking revelation.

"The math IS mathing but i cant process it," wrote one confused viewer.
"Why did I think eleven was 11," asked a second.
A third simply penned: "sorry sorry WHAT".
Other Stranger Things fanatics pointed out that El's age made perfect sense when they looked back at how Jim Hopper reacted to El and Mike's relationship last season.

The Hawkins Chief of Police had previously taken in Eleven, giving her a room in his cabin and acting as a father figure to her.
But when El developed a romantic relationship with Mike in season three, Hopper got pretty overprotective of the psychokinetic youngster.
Now that fans know how young El was while entering into her first serious relationship with Mike Wheeler, Hopper's behaviour makes a little more sense.

"We understand Hopper's old man's heart now," commented one TikToker.
"That's why it makes sense for Hopper to be so overprotective," wrote a second.
"No wonder why Hopper wanted the door open," added a third.
This has just changed our entire outlook on El's love life...
