While Oscar season may be wrapping up for the year, there's still an impressive line-up of films set for release in the coming months, including Robert Eggers' highly anticipated The Northman.
The film, which stars Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Bjork, will tell the story of a young Viking prince who sets out on a quest to avenge his father's death.
And while the upcoming blockbuster sounds like a no-brainer, it looks like the film's marketing team may have missed a trick or two in their advertising.
Across New York City, locals have noticed the dramatic poster for the film plastered across billboards and subway stations.

And although some may be focused on the star-studded line-up or the gritty aesthetic, most can't help but notice that a key detail is missing from the film's poster - the title.
In a number of spots across New York, the film's poster feature tells people everything they need to know about the film - the cast list, the writer and director Robert Eggers, the tagline, and the date of theatrical release - but gives them no inkling as to what the movie might be called.
After spotting the blunder, one New Yorker shared a snap of the poster to Twitter, joking: "'So you got that poster ready for The Northman?' 'Yeah, chief! We already printed it and put it in subways all over New York!' 'You made sure the title was on it, right?' 'Uhhhhhhhh....'"

A second local who noticed the mix-up tweeted: "When you [accidentally] deleted the layer with the title".
And a third added: "'One ticket please' 'What movie?' 'Uhhh..only in theaters April 22??'"
Yikes...

Others couldn't help but notice that, while the film title is missing, Robert Eggers managed to get his name on the poster three different times.
One Twitter user joked: "thank god it tells us twice that Robert Eggers directed it though".
A second tweeted: "One ticket for Robert Eggers, please".

However, some sceptics thing that the 'mistake' was no mistake at all, but rather a ploy from the film's marketing team to get people talking.
"The number of times I’ve seen people post this makes me think the mistake wasn’t a mistake at all" suggested one user.

"Sick marketing tactic Ngl. Make everyone talk about the lack of a title, now everybody knows what this film is" wrote another.
"Am I the only one who thinks this is genius?" a third asked. "Even if accidental, there’s a lot of talk about this movie now."
The Northman hits UK cinemas on 15th April.
