A new trailer for The Split has dropped ahead of its imminent return to TV screens and it looks like we might need to stock up on tissues!

This third season will conclude Abi Morgan's dramatic, heart-wrenching trilogy as viewers watch a divorce lawyer confronted by her very own divorce.
Returning to the final season to add further fuel to the fire is Christie (Barry Atsma), who fans will remember as the catalyst to the breakdown of Hannah and Nathan's marriage.
Could this mean an amicable separation agreement after twenty years together is off the cards?

As Hannah faces what she is about to lose, a shocking revelation will dramatically change the stakes and we'll no doubt be left sobbing as we watch Hannah and Nathan try to find a path through the wreckage.

The Split season three will launch on BBC One on 4th April at 9pm. All episodes will also be available on BBC iPlayer from 4th April.
