This Is Us Viewers In Tears After Emotional Reunion

This Is Us viewers were left in tears after an emotional reunion in the most recent episode.

During Tuesday evening's ep, Nicky finally reunites with Sally - and viewers admitted to being in tears over the scenes. It all begins when Rebecca (Mandy Moore), Miguel (Jon Huertas) and Nicky (Griffin Dune) embark upon a road trip to visit Sally (Nicky's ex girlfriend).

Nicky is mega nervous, admitting to Rebecca and Miguel that he hadn't yet reached out to Sally, and he doesn't even know if she will remember him.

And when he does eventually find the courage to knock on the door, Sally at first doesn't recognise Nicky, but it soon comes back to her and the trio end up staying for dinner.

Viewers learn that Sally worked for a pharmacology company and is now married to a man named Eric.

And fans were seriously emotional over the scene, with one person writing: "I know last week's episode was a tearjerker but damn, tonight's episode got me awww'n and teary at nearly 3am."

And a third tweeted: "Uncle nicky deserves all the happiness and love in this world #ThisIsUs."

A fourth added: "Aww Sally remembers Nicky. They had such a memorable meet cute that I was hoping she'd remember."

And a fifth said: "#ThisIsUs I love that Nicky said loving Sally for decades wasn’t a waste of his time."

And a sixth wrote: "I wanna know which of you serial killers are NOT crying over this scene with Nicky and Sally saying goodbye."

Season six started airing in the UK on Thursday 6th January, only two days after its premiere in the US.

Both new fans and OGs will be able to stream all five previous seasons now on Disney+. Amazon Prime subscribers will still be able to stream the season six as well as on Disney+ in the UK.
