Former Love Island contestant Shaughna Phillips has revealed what is inside the islander’s suitcases when they’re dumped from the villa.
The 28-year-old, who took part in the first ever winter series in 2020, said the dumping experience happens very quickly and contestants don’t actually pack their own belongings.
“It’s not that long, maybe 15 to 20 minutes,” she revealed to OK! Magazine.

“You don’t actually pack all your stuff, you basically just pack things you definitely don’t want to lose and then overnight stuff, pyjamas, makeup, things like that.”
Viewers have now watched countless dumpings over the years and an islander’s last scenes often seem to go by very quickly.
Similarly to Danica Taylor and Jamie Allen earlier this week, who were dumped when they received the fewest public votes, the departing islanders must pack their luggage and say goodbye almost immediately.

Shaughna added that after the islanders have packed their essentials, the rest of the luggage follows afterwards and it’s up to your now ex-islanders to pack it for you.
“Your other stuff comes out a few days later and the people in the villa actually pack it for you – so hope that you’ve made good friends.”
In related Love Island news, 21-year-old dancer Danica said leaving the villa just a few days before the grand finale felt ‘bittersweet’ and said she might have found love with 27-year-old Halifax Town footballer Jamie.
She said: “Leaving the Villa before the end is bittersweet because you make so many relationships and connections – it becomes your home and you don’t want to leave!

“There is so much there to experience and it’s hard when you have to say goodbye.
“Good things do come to an end and I had the most incredible experience, I’ve made friendships for life and I am hopeful for the connection I’ve come out with. That's what the aim of the game is, to find love and I think I could potentially have found that with Jamie.”
Jamie is on the same page and said he plans to introduce Danica to his family soon.
“We’ve already talked about a few dates we’re going to tick off the list. We’re definitely going to see each other on the outside 100 percent.”

Some of the dates he has in mind so far include: “A nice meal, we’re going to go clubbing afterwards, then we’ve got some more fun things lined up like go-karting and The Cube in Manchester. Just loads of fun stuff, mix it up, not too serious.”
And the meals could be home cooked dishes by Jamie’s nanna. “Usually we go to my Nanna’s on a Sunday for dinner or she comes to us on Wednesday. So that’d be nice to get her involved every now and again or every week if she wants. I’m sure she’ll like my Nanna’s cooking. Can’t beat my Nanna’s cooking.”
This sounds so wholesome.
