A popular beauty influencer has seriously divided opinions online after making bold comments about how difficult her job is.
Mikayla Nogueira, who boasts an impressive 13.5 million followers on TikTok, went viral on the app this week after deciding to outline how tough her influencing lifestyle is.
"I've literally just finished working, it's 5:19,", she says in the clip. "Try being an influencer for a day. Try it."
In the original video, which has since been removed from Mikyala's TikTok account, the makeup influencer had been replying to a troll who told her to try getting a nine-to-five job.

A recording of the now-deleted video, reposted by another TikTok user, shows Mikayla's full response to the criticism.
"Every single day, I get up at 6 a.m. I spend about five to six hours filming video content that ranges from three to four videos and then I spent a few hours editing that video content", says the influencer.
"Then I have to work on my other social media profiles, whatever it may be. It's f**king marketing. Then I'm in meetings from twelve to five.
"I literally just finished working, it's 5:19. Try being an influencer for a day. Try it. Because the people who say it's easy are so far out of their minds. Try it for a day."
As you can probably imagine, it didn't take long for the video to blow up, and it was only a matter of hours before people started posting their own responses.

Some people took the opportunity to correct Mikayla on her original claim, like fellow influencer Anayka She, who told her followers: "Yes, being an influencer is a job like any other.
"While the job is not hard, it is tedious... The problems that I have now being an influencer are problems that I wish I had two or three years ago."
Meanwhile, others decided to use their platform to poke fun at Mikayla with comedic impersonations. One example is TikToker Sarah Klait, who sarcastically captioned her video: "Y'all don't know the struggles of this job so please don't judge."
Others are rushing to defend Mikayla, insisting that the makeup vlogger's comments were taken out of context.

"This is what's wrong with this world" says TikToker @tori.xo, scrolling through just some of the hateful comments that Mikayla has received.
"When did we decide that going out of our way to comment nasty things on people's videos is okay? Do you feel better about yourself?"
And fellow TikTok influencer Bisma Par chimed in: "One person saying that their job was hard, or that they worked all day does not negate if your job is hard. There's context to it."
