Britney Spears fans are hanging their heads in shame after just realising the NSFW meaning behind one of her songs 13 years later!
It turns out that the song 'If U Seek Amy' from Britney's sixth studio album Circus has a double meaning and it was hidden in the title the whole time.
You can watch the video for the song here:
When one person pointed out the hidden lyrics in the song, hundreds of fans who had never noticed it before started to question their whole existence.

They wrote: "13 years ago, britney spears released 'if u seek amy' and subtly taught us how to spell the f word".
As many super fans may know, the title 'If U Seek Amy' sounds exactly like the spelling f-*-*-k me.
So no, the chart-topping tune isn't about a missing girl named Amy, but rather Britney's undeniable sex appeal in the public eye.
Around the time of its release, critics who had spotted the hidden lyrics threatened to have the song pulled from public airwaves between the hours of 6am and 10pm, but even so, many Britney fans had failed to notice the NSFW meaning even 13 years later.

Reacting to the shocking revelation, fans took to Twitter to confess that - despite countless listens - they had never noticed the trick.
"Wait - you're telling me the song wasn't about a popular girl named Amy that everyone was looking for...?!" one fan asked.
When it finally clicked for them, another fan wrote: "All of the boys and all the girls are begging to f.*.*.k.m.e OMGGGG."
