People are just realising that one of Destiny's Child's lesser known songs Nasty Girl did not age well, and features some seriously anti-feminist lyrics.
Twenty years after its release, the music video has resurfaced, and we're willing to bet that it's one of the songs that Beyoncé would rather forget.
Check out the music video:
The 2002 tune features lyrics like: "You nasty girl, you nasty, you trashy/
You classless, girl, you sleazy, you freaky/
I never met a girl that does the things that you do/
Change don't come your way, it will come back to you/
Put some clothes on, girl."
Yikes!
The song was first released as the fifth single from the girl band's album Survivor, but didn't manage to hit the charts - we wonder why...
Two decades later, fans are listening back to the Destiny's Child song and realising that it aged like milk.
Rediscovering the song, through throwback Instagram account @velvetcoke, one viewer commented: "This is one of the songs Beyonce wants buried deep away đđ"
Another wrote: "oh look, it's the sl*tshaming of early aughts lol"
"This song makes me angry. Such a vile anti-feminist message..." a third commented.
One fan admitted: "This did not age well."
While viewers were obviously horrified over the lyrics, some were distracted by a familiar face in the music video.
Aside from Beyonce, Kelly, and Michelle, the star of this music video is none other than And Just Like That's Sara Ramirez - aka Che Diaz!
Yes, before the non-binary actor was cast as Carrie Bradshaw's boss, Sara Ramirez was a video star, playing the so-called "Nasty Girl" for Destiny's Child.
Delighted to see the SATC star, fans were able to put their horror aside to cheer on the actor.
"ITâS CHE DĂAZ" commented one viewer.
"SARA RAMIREZ?!?? No way đłđ€Żđ±" wrote another.
A third excited fan added: "Oh HEYYYYYYYY, itâs Che DiĂĄzzz đ"
And Just Like That stars aside, we have a lot of thoughts on this Destiny's Child tune.
Did you forget it existed too?
