Gigi Hadid has shared some rare details to fans about co-parenting her daughter with ex Zayn Malik.
In September 2020, the former One Direction singer and the US supermodel announced they had welcomed a 'healthy and beautiful' baby girl.
Zayn took to Twitter to announce the arrival with a black-and-white picture of Khai Hadid Malik's tiny hand clutching his finger.

Alongside that, he wrote: "The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding."
However, the couple went their separate ways just over a year later in October 2021 following a reported family dispute between Zayn and Gigi's mum, Yolanda Hadid.
Reports emerged that Zayn had ‘struck’ the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star during an argument at her home in Pennsylvania.

However, this is something Zayn has strongly denied, saying previously in a statement posted to Twitter: "As you all know, I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in.
"A place where private family matters aren't thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart.
"In an effort to protect that space for her I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner's who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.

"This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for not there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been 'leaked' to the press.
"I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves.”
Despite the controversy, Gigi has opened up on the positive relationship she has with Zayn.
Speaking recently with The Sunday Times, Gigi said that she schedules her work commitments for 'when Khai is with her dad'.

She added: "That she can be with both parents [which] makes me very happy."
In the interview, Gigi also provided some advice to people who have split up and are about to embark on a separated co-parenting journey.
"Just keeping the importance of the child's happiness at the forefront," she said.
