Halsey has said their own breast milk is a skincare superhero because it's full of ‘antioxidants’ - and it’s clearly working for the singer because their skin is absolutely glowing.
The 28-year-old and their partner Alev Aydin are proud parents to a son named Ender, who was born in July 2021.
Announcing the birth, Halsey wrote at the time: "Gratitude. For the most 'rare' and euphoric birth. Powered by love."

And the singer, whose pronouns are she/they, says that becoming a parent changed how they felt about skincare and made them think more deeply about what they put onto their skin.
In an interview with Nylon magazine, Halsey said: “I've always been really conscious about what goes on my skin, but when your baby is kissing you or snuggled up against you, you become hyper-cognisant of what's on your face.
“I love the Biologique Repecharge’s colostrum VG serum, which I got into when I first had my son.”
Halsey also swears by the healing properties of breast milk.

They went on: “I started breastfeeding and I figured out that breast milk is the best skincare ingredient ever because it's so full of antioxidants and good fats and stuff that speed up the healing process.”
Elsewhere in the interview Halsey revealed that they’re a fan of makeup wipes. I felt my own skin cringe just reading the word ‘makeup wipe’, did you?
Speaking about their skincare faves, Halsey said: “Just in general, I love hyaluronic acid. I actually use a French pharmacy hyaluronic acid paste called Laluset. I mix it into serums and face lotion because it has a white cast if you don't dilute it. I even use it as a lip mask.

“And I know everyone's anti-makeup wipe, but they’re good when you're doing really thick, editorial-type looks. I also always try to break it down with a really simple cleanser like Cerave’s sensitive skin one.”
I mean, Halsey’s skin is basically flawless so maybe they are making the case for makeup wipes, but I won’t be jumping on board just yet.
Alongside their music career, Halsey is also the founder of successful beauty range About-Face and swears that the brand’s 1994 Mascara is ‘the best mascara ever made’.

They added: “We worked really hard on that formula - it coats your lashes in a really nice way and it builds and separates. I have really short eyelashes and this mascara has fully replaced my need for false eyelashes.”
