Jennifer Lopez has come under fire for promoting her alcohol brand in a new video, despite her husband’s past struggles.
The hit-maker married former beau Ben Affleck in July 2022. The Air star has had a long history with alcohol addiction and has been vocal about his sobriety throughout his career after attending rehab multiple times.
Despite this, Lopez just launched a new pre-mixed cocktail line, called Delola, and promoted the brand in a lengthy video on social media.

Taking to Instagram over Independence Day weekend, the A-Lister filmed herself heading out to pick up a bottle of Delola for her party
Glamorous as ever, Lopez wore a chic camel jumpsuit with oversized sunnies and hoop earrings as she headed out on the impromptu errand.
“So I'm on my way to sneak out to go and get some Delola,” confessed the mum-of-two. “We have a few people coming over for the holiday weekend and I realized that we don't have any. I thought we would but we don't. So I'm gonna go to the store and get some, hopefully, they have it there.”

During the eight-minute Instagram video, Lopez heavily promoted the cocktail - which had been developed over the pandemic and launched in April of this year.
She went on to explain how she ‘enjoys’ the odd drink after going alcohol-free for several years.
“I do enjoy the occasional cocktail. I do drink responsibly, I don't drink to get s***-faced,” she said, adding: “I drink to be social and to have a nice time and just kind of relax and to let loose a little bit, but always responsibly.”
The ‘Jenny from the Block’ singer filmed herself picking up some of her pre-mixed cocktail line, with customers taking photos and the store owners even playing her music.

While the video gave Lopez’s fans a rare insight into her life behind the scenes, many have been left less than impressed.
One fan wrote in the comments: “So awkward when she talks about drinking responsibly and not getting s***-faced knowing her husband [suffered] from alcoholism for years.”
Another added: “Why not respect your husband's sobriety?"

However, some fans have defended Lopez, saying the brand and her husband, Affleck, were two separate issues.
“Her husband's alcoholism has nothing to do with her. His sobriety doesn't depend on her or anybody else,” argued one person.
Tyla has reached out to Jennifer Lopez's representatives for comment.
