This year’s Met Gala theme is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, in tribute to the late fashion designer, who died in 2019 from complications with pancreatic cancer.
The annual event is a mainstay on celebrity calendars, with Chastain regularly showing up in jaw-dropping outfits, such as her gorgeous ruby red Gilded Glamour outfit in 2022, and silky golden wonder way back in 2015.
However, at this year’s Gala, it isn’t her dress that has turned heads — it’s her hair!

Another wrote: “Now this is on point with the theme.”

Chastain is just one of the celebrities turning heads on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum this evening — with pop star Dua Lipa also being the name on everyone’s lips.
The co-chair of this year’s event was one of the first celebrities to hit the carpet, and she did it wearing a homage to Lagerfeld.
The Levitating singer opted to wear a 1992 Chanel tweed dress accessorised with a gigantic Tiffany & Co. Diamond necklace.

Fashion fans will already be familiar with the vintage Chanel gown, as it was famously worn by model, Claudia Schiffer, back in the 90s.
Speaking about her look, she told Variety that the dress was ‘very, very special’ and that the patrimony was ‘very kind to let it to me for tonight’.
Regarding her necklace, which is said to be worth more that $10 million, she said: “I feel very lucky that I get to wear it tonight. "It’s very special, it hasn’t been seen before. So I feel very lucky that I get to showcase it tonight at the Met Gala.”
Other celebrities in attendance of this year’s star-studded event include Doja Cat, Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney and model Karlie Kloss.
