Super Bowl viewers have flooded social media after being left baffled by a risqué moment during Rihanna's halftime performance. Catch the moment here:
Amid leaving fans starstruck over her epic 13-minute performance beginning with hit track 'B***h Better My Money' and sending viewers into a frenzy of speculation flashing a hint of baby bump, one moment of Rihanna's performance didn't go down quite as well.

At one point during her set, the star seemingly grabbed her crotch before proceeding to smell her hand.
Now ladies, let's not deny, we've all been there when we think we may have started our period, so we have a little check.
However, to sniff our fingers after is questionable and considering Rihanna confirmed her pregnancy who knows what she was doing. Maybe it was just a bold dance move?
Alas in the age of social media, it's never each to their own and viewers have stormed to social media to interrogate the gesture.

So many viewers were left questioning the move, with Sports Talk Radio even joking it was 'getting more calls on Rihanna's crotch than the actual game'.
One user wrote: "Well….the wife and I both love Rihanna, and we both hated: One. That the whole thing was lip-synched. Two. She grabbed on her crotch, 10X more than Michael Jackson did, in a hour and a half show.
"Counter argument: My 25 year old daughter thought it was the best halftime ever."

Another questioned: "Maybe she thought her water broke but she just went herself a little. I don't know."
"That move was so trashy," a third wrote.
"I cannot let this just pass by, this is absolutely disgusting," said another.

A final simply resolved: "I don't even know what I'm looking at."
Indeed, as well as grabbing her crotch, the 'Umbrella' singer has also received criticism after being accused of lip-syncing.
One user said: "Props to @rihanna for not even trying to lip sync. She’s barely even holding the mic up to her mouth."

"What’s the point of a halftime show when Rihanna doesn’t even try to lip sync?" another added.
While it's fair enough for fans to be angry they may not have seen a live performance - although getting up and dancing on stage for 13 minutes while pregnant is pretty damn impressive - enough men stick their hands around their crotch area and they don't get asked any questions about it, so maybe, as one user said, 'parents [just] have to send their kids to bed before Super Bowl halftimes' if they disapprove of such pop star behaviour.
