Stacey made the revelation on a recent interview on The One Show, where she reacted to host Ronan Keating congratulating her on the news.
"I can't quite believe it actually, I'm delighted. I feel really lucky because I'm 35 so you never take it for granted," she said.
She went on to add that she 'can't quite believe I'm going to be in charge of a little human being'.
Stacey had announced her pregnancy on Instagram, sharing a polaroid that showed off her growing baby bump.
She captioned the photo: "We are having a baby!

"So bloody delighted. Kev, you're magic. I love you. Was becoming impossible to hide and if one more person asks me if I've had my t*ts done in LA I'm gonna scream. Here goes."
The journalist began dating the dancer after they appeared on and won the 2018 season of Strictly Come Dancing.
Kevin also shared the same snap of Stacey on his Instagram account, adding that he thinks his partner looks 'beautiful' pregnant.
Celebrities were quick to flood the happy couple with messages of congratulations.

However, while Stacey and Kevin might be happy and in love now, the pair didn't have the easiest ride at the start of their relationship.
This is because Stacey had ended her five-year relationship with personal trainer Sam Tucknott shortly after winning Strictly Come Dancing with Kevin.
Sam then went on to describe Kevin as a 'slippery, slimy snake' when the pair got together in 2019.
Stacey wrote on Twitter at the time: "Anyone with any adult life experience knows there are 2 sides to every story. I haven't got the time or energy to correct some of the utter nonsense I've read on here.

"Re Sam, I loved him v much and only wish him happiness and success going forward."
The journalist went on to explain that she had grown a lot since she met her ex-partner. She told You Magazine: "I still really want what's best for him. I just… feel like I've grown a lot. I feel so much more mature than I was then. I want him to have a brilliant life."
