Aimee Lou Wood has a message to her American fans about her teeth, and it's not what you might think.
The 31-year-old White Lotus star's gnashers have been the talk of the town recently with many of her new fans from across the pond clearly fixated on them.
Wood, who won a British Academy Television Award for her role in Netflix's Sex Education, was a fan of the HBO show before she was on it, even revealing that she texted her agents to ask them to try and get her an audition at the end of season two.

She landed the role of astrology-loving Chelsea, as her character takes a Thailand vacation with her increasingly surly older boyfriend, Rick, played by Walton Goggins.
And, just last Sunday (23 March), Wood appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show to discuss the internet's latest obsession and, namely, her thoughts on the comments about her teeth.
"I mean I can’t believe the impact my teeth are having," Wood said.

"Because the Americans can’t believe [my teeth], but they’re all being lovely," she shared before explaining that she's happened upon videos of orthodontists analysing her teeth, as they were 'dissecting what is wrong' with them.
However, much to Wood's delight, those such clips still ended with the doctors saying: "But we don’t think she should change a thing!"
The Sex Education alum reiterated just how much this praise meant to her, especially given the 'bullying' she’s been subjected to in the past for her appearance.

"It feels so lovely. A real full-circle moment after being bullied for my teeth, forever," Wood gushed before joking: "I hope that people don’t start like filing their teeth so they have gaps!"
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter last month about the difference between herself and her White Lotus co-stars, Wood explained: "These people live in Hollywood. I live in my little flat in South East London.
"I’m so British in my sensibility that I wasn’t sure how to handle being around so many people who are so front-footed and confident. All I ever do is take the p*ss out of myself."
She added: "Even the way [White Lotus fans] are talking about me and my teeth - that I don’t have veneers or Botox - it feels a bit rebellious."

And, while there have been some mean comments made online by internet trolls, fortunately, the amount of support for Wood totally outweighs the trolling comments with many rushing to social media to share exactly why it's so important that the actress doesn't let the nasty remarks get to her.
One Facebook user pleaded: "I think it's highly unfair to be commenting on this young lady's teeth, when they should be enjoying her acting (I personally love the things I've seen her in and this she's a very talented actress).
"So please don't be mean to her."

Another defended: "I love her teeth, it’s what makes her even more attractive. She’s just embracing her beauty and her quirks and it is empowering, we all have them. I hope she doesn’t cave under the pressures of others or Hollywood."
And a final person praised: "I think it’s refreshing & lovely to see a (GREAT!) actress not afraid to embrace the beauty they were born with, not feeling the need to correct every slight imperfection due to wanting to follow everyone else..."
