Former 90210 actresses Shenae Grimes-Beech and AnnaLynne McCord once revealed how they’d buried the hatchet after being ‘at each other’s throats’ while filming the show.
In the early 2000s, the famed American reboot series 90210 dominated the airwaves.
The five-season project followed the various fictional lives of wealthy students attending West Beverly Hills High School in California.

The teen TV series first aired in September 2008 and starred Shena, 34, as new Beverly Hills high schooler Annie Wilson while AnnaLynne, 36, portrayed antiheroine Naomi Clark.
In the early days of filming 90210, it’s said that the pair got on like a house on fire.
However, their relationship quickly deteriorated and they were embroiled in a bitter feud after AnnaLynne accompanied an unnamed female cast member to ‘confront’ Shenae over her ‘diva’ behaviour.

Speaking about the incident on their now-defunct Unzipped podcast, the Atlanta-born star said she’d been ‘unwittingly’ dragged into the clash and that her ‘brain couldn’t comprehend’ why she was part of the confrontation.
“I just turned around, went back to my trailer and never knew what actually ended up happening.”
Unfortunately, the damage was already done and what ensued was a deep rift between the pair, which has thankfully now been repaired.
Speaking about rekindling their friendship in 2021, Shenae said: "To be honest, AnnaLynne and I hadn't ever addressed the fact that we didn't speak for almost the entirety of our time on the show.

"There were a lot of behind-the-scenes issues and it was a very toxic environment.”
She continued to tell E! News that while the friends knew a lot of the stories being written about them were ‘fabricated’, they found it difficult to not get ‘influenced’ by what was being portrayed in the papers.
“It's hard not to get influenced by your perception of people when you're being fed that narrative the whole time,” Shenae added.

AnnaLynne previously explained that she believed their relationship initially suffered due to being ‘real people’ being thrown into a ‘very not real world’.
“We were trying to navigate either deciding, are we going to be outcasts, because we won't conform, or are we going to try to be live, and then feel disingenuous to ourselves,” she said, as reported by People.
"Ultimately, authenticity won out and in the journey towards authenticity, we deepened what is now a very beautiful bond and I am very grateful to have known this little human for as long as I have.”
Following the repair of their relationship, AnnaLynne was invited to Shanae’s wedding to Josh Beech in London in 2013.

The duo still remain close pals, with the Degrassi alumni telling Scheana Shay in 2023: "AnnaLynne and I have so much history and I just love her. I love her like family."
