Chloe Madeley breaks silence on split with ex-husband James Haskell

She took to Instagram to address the matter

Chloe Madeley has finally broken her silence on her split with ex-husband James Haskell.

The pair announced to fans last month that they had split in September and now, the 36-year-old daughter of Richard and Judy has opened up a little more to fans about the separation.

Chloe's comments come after her ITV fly-on-the-wall reality show, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair, aired which saw James claim she treated him 'like a dog' during an argument.

The former couple previously took to Instagram to announce the news to fans, writing: "James and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023.

"We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time - certainly not while the television show was airing - but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.

"Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time."

She added: "Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love."

Former rugby player James, 38, also shared his own statement to his page regarding their split: "It's with a lot of sadness I write this post, but unfortunately, in the world we live in, it has to be done.

"My priority is my daughter’s and Chloe’s happiness and security. For that reason, I won't be commenting any further."

Chloe has since taken to her Instagram yet again to share with her 292k followers a little more about the situation.

During a Q&A, one fan asked the personal trainer whether the pair could every rekindle their romance.

"Is there a chance you and James will get back together... it's so sad," they asked.

Chloe revealed she and James were 'determined' to be the 'best parents' to their daughter.

Chloe answered the question, along with a photo of James carrying their daughter, Bodhi, on his shoulders, writing: "James and I are not together anymore but we are determined to be the absolute best parents we can be to our amazing little girl."

The mum has previously made a comment on social media about 'keeping it real' after releasing information about her new TV show.

She wrote: "Thank you all so much for your BEYOND lovely messages about the show! I love that so many of you are saying you find it funny and relatable.

"The goal was to keep it 100% real, which is scary, so to have so many mums and couples saying this is exactly what they like about it is a huge relief, comfort and joy. Thank you so much."
