Loose Women fans were less than impressed by Cliff Richard’s new interview during which he got up and treated viewers to his dance moves.
The 82-year-old music icon was full of energy during his chat with the Loose Women panel on Tuesday (29 August) about his new album, Strings – My Kinda Life.
He was being interviewed by Kaye Adams, Gloria Hunniford and Frankie Bridge about his distinguished career as an entertainer, which has led to him meeting some very famous names in music.

Sir Cliff was asked about the time he met the late King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley, many decades ago while in America.
They chatted about the ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ crooner’s dancing which sent fans into a frenzy during his heyday in the 1950s and 1960s.
Perhaps trying to conjure the same effect for the Loose Women viewers watching at home, Sir Cliff couldn’t resist standing up from the panel to do an impersonation of Elvis’ moves.

Elvis is probably one of the most impersonated music artists ever and Sir Cliff certainly gave it his best effort by swinging his hips and shoulders to the sound of cheers from the studio audience.
Thankfully, no undergarments were thrown on stage like Elvis’ fans used to back in the day.
The impromptu performance from Sir Cliff left a lot to be desired among viewers at home, however, who were left ‘cringing’.
Taking to X - the app formerly known as Twitter - one viewer declared: “Cliff Richard is insufferable. Get him off. #LooseWomen.”

And a fourth said: "Cliff Richard is so cringey."

Amongst the backlash were a few positive tweets for Sir Cliff, who is the fourth biggest selling British act of all time behind The Beatles, Elton John and Led Zeppelin.
“Fantastic to see Sir #CliffRichard on @loosewomen,” one fan wrote. “For me, he is the greatest singer of all time.
"From his wonderful Christmas songs to cinema films and more. He's done it all and he's still got a lot more to offer us.”
While someone else posted: “Gloria and Sir Cliff's friendship is absolutely fantastic.

"Plus, you can see it's not just for the TV screens, but it's a true and long life friendship with some amazing stories.”
