Coleen Rooney has opened up about cheating in a surprisingly candid chat about her marriage to Wayne Rooney.
The WAG and amateur Instagram detective, 37, has been married to the former England footballer, also 37, for 15 years and together they share four children.
It hasn’t all been an easy ride, however, as the pair have faced rocky moments in the past, which meant keeping the relationship together was a ‘battle’ at times.

In a remarkable new interview with Vogue, Coleen admitted: “We’ve had our ups and downs.
“Obviously everybody knows. It’s been hard to go through it in the public eye but there has always been love there. If the love is gone then, you know, it’s pointless. But if not, you’ve got something to work for.”
Coleen addressed her husband’s infidelities and revealed she looks at situations and considers whether it is ‘worth moving on’ from it.

She said: “It’s been a battle at times. I look at [any] situation we’re in and think, ‘Could we move forward from that? Is it worth moving forward from that?’ I don’t just give up.”
On the topic of infidelity, ‘scandals’ and ‘sex workers’ as a result of her husband’s behaviour during their marriage, Coleen remarked: "But another thing is we’ve never backed away from it."
She continued: “We own it. I remember having a conversation about this with someone and I said, ‘Well, do you know what your wife gets up to every day and night? At least I know what my husband’s doing!’ It mightn’t be good, but I know. People lie to themselves.”

The Vogue September issue cover star said she offers this advice to her friends. “Don’t give up straight away,” she declared. “You’ll get annoyed straight away, but I’ve always given myself time. And there’s been times when it’s taken longer than others to work out what I want. There’s been doubts. ‘Is this going to work? I’ve been full of frustration and hurt’."
Coleen and Wayne met when they were 12 while the pair still lived in Liverpool. However, their relationship didn’t begin until they were 16.
They tied the knot in Portofino, Italy, in June 2008 and they now live in a £20 million mansion in Cheshire.
