Fans praise Drew Barrymore's 'normal' home after spotting surprise details

We’ve all heard the saying haven’t we? ‘Celebs, they’re just like us!’
Whether or not we believe it is another matter. But there is one ultra famous celebrity who may have put an end to the speculation once and for all.
Actress and talk-show host Drew Barrymore has delighted the internet with a video that gives fans a sneak peek into her home.
Taking to TikTok, the beloved 50 First Dates star uploaded a video captioned: “I love staying in.”

Using a backing track of Michelle Keegan and Ferne Cotton (what a crossover) talking about how much they love being at home and being hermits, Drew, 49, inserted clips of herself at home to show that she wholeheartedly agrees.
In the video, you can see Drew smiling as she cracks an egg in her kitchen, tries on clothes in her room and eats dinner at her table.
It isn’t so much that Drew loves to stay in that has people thinking the star is more relatable than they previously thought - it’s actually the interior of her home.
One person wrote in the comments: “I absolutely love you. I have many of your kitchen appliances and I absolutely love them.”
Another said: “I love that your house looks like a home and not just a show piece.”
A third echoed: “Why does her home look so normal??? I love her!”
This isn’t the first time Drew has gained a lot of appreciation for her incredibly homey living space.
Drew once showed the world her ‘tiny TV’, which led one person to comment: “The size of your TV and the simplicity of your home makes me love you even more."
And in a previous video, Drew recorded herself in her bathroom as she talked to viewers about her tattoos.
But people were much more interested in her surroundings.
One person wrote: “Your bathroom looks so normal. Idk why that makes me happy lol.”
While another said: “I HAVE THE SAME BATHROOM RUG AS DREW BARRYMORE.”
And a third chimed in: “Drew Barrymore is sooo non Hollywood and I love it.”
It seems the videos have come as a welcome relief to viewers rather than looking at the usual unattainable, multi-million dollar mansions of celebrities all day.
That is, of course, not to say that Drew couldn’t be doing the exact same thing - with a rumoured net worth of $125 million, it’s just such a comforting thing that we can see our own lives reflected in Drew’s videos.
