Eagle-eyed fans have spotted a cryptic detail in one of Eamonn Holmes' recent social media posts just months after the announcement of his split from Ruth Langsford.
In May, veteran broadcaster Eamonn, and his ex-wife Ruth, both 64, announced their shock plans to divorce after 14 years of marriage.
The pair went on to release a statement via their representatives confirming their relationship was ‘over’ and that they were going through the ‘process’ of divorce.
In the aftermath of the pair’s split, Eamonn has continued to man the GB News Breakfast show with co-host Isabel Webster, while Ruth is expected to finally return to ITV’s Loose Women today (July 22), according to The Mirror.

Over the weekend, the father-of-four revealed he was up to taking on greater responsibility at the network and on Sunday (July 21), he announced that he’d been called into work to cover the weekend breakfast show.
Eamon claimed it had been a ‘pleasure’ to present the early morning programme with ‘the legend’ Anne Diamond - despite it being a last-minute appointment.
Taking to Instagram, he posted a picture of himself with his arm around the 69-year-old’s shoulders.

He wrote in the post’s caption: “Called into present extra this morning and what a pleasure it turned out to be with the legend that is Anne Diamond.
“Great response from you on a lot of the subjects we covered. See u in the Morning!”
While many users have flocked to the post to praise Eamonn and Anne’s chemistry on GB News, others have spotted another detail in the picture.
One Instagram user commented: “He’s still wearing his wedding ring.”

“That was my first thought as well,” typed a second Instagram user.
While another said: “It's up to him if and when he decides to take it off.”
“Well you're not very observant. He's always worn his wedding ring, people decide when to remove it. And finally....it's non of our business,” echoed someone else.

A fourth typed: “This photo was taken this morning on GB Breakfast news 6 am to 9.30 am!! So the photo is most definitely current! And they both look lovely and well too.”
Last month, Eamonn appeared at the TRIC Awards and admitted that he was ‘not OK’ following the divorce news.
Speaking to The Mirror, he said that it wasn’t a ‘good time at all’ and that he hopes he and his ex-wife can ‘still be friends’.
The former couple reportedly met in 1997 after being introduced by television presenter and mutual friend, Sally Meen.
