It's pretty common for grandparents to help out their children in various ways when they start up families of their own.
From doing the weekly food shop and helping out with chores around the house to sending over money and, of course, emotional support - it's clear that there are a number of things grandparents do to help out.
And some grandmothers take it one step further and even offer their services breastfeeding the latest addition to the family, including the likes of English actress and TV presenter, Fay Ripley.

The 58-year-old 'Cold Feet' star has two children with her Aussie husband and fellow actor, Daniel Lapaine.
The pair tied the knot back in 2001 and share a 21-year-old daughter, Parker, and a 17-year-old son named Sonny.
Opening up about what it's been like watching her kids grow into adults, Fay said per MailOnline: "This is the most challenging moment of my entire life, seeing my kids grow older."

She then went on to share how she navigates that challenge, continuing: "But then you can fill that gap with the grandparent role.
"I’m happy to do that - but I will be breastfeeding."
Fay added: "I must admit, I do like babies very much. But yes, I’m taking on the wet nurse role, I believe."

The recipe writer previously opened up about being a mum during the White Wine Question Time podcast.
Sharing her difficulties with the 'second half' of motherhood, she said: "I guess for some people, they go quite quickly into going, 'Right, now we’re grandparent'.
"I think maybe I’m taking it a bit far. Like I still do a turn-down service. Like literally I do a fold-down.
"I’m putting a flipping pointy thing on the loo roll for when they have their next poo. That’s because I think 'Ah, that’ll be nice for them'. And I fill a glass of water. At 20 and 16, what am I doing?"

Fay carried on: "I think if they were on here they’d say it’s quite claustrophobic. So, I’m clearly not getting it all right. But I really have felt that to this point it’s been a privilege. I don’t know what will happen.
"I feel like I’ve kept them alive to this point and I’m proud of that, and now 'Hey, kids, got to keep me alive now!'"
