Hannah Waddingham has clapped back at a photographer who reportedly tried to cagoule her into showing some skin.
On Sunday, the 49-year-old Ted Lasso star was in attendance at the Olivier Awards at the Royal Albert Hall.
The London-based event saw James Graham’s Dear England and Succession actor Sarah Snook taking home statuettes, as well as Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard and new musical Operation Mincemeat.

Hannah was on hosting duties at the annual awards ceremony for the second year running and successfully completed three outfit changes during the gong-giving ceremony.
Before taking to the stage, the mother-of-one posed for pictures on the red carpet wearing a stunning purple gown with a thigh-high split.
But while stopping for photographs on the steps of the building, she was unfortunately forced to confront a member of the press.

According to a video posted by a fan account, Hannah had been asked by a photographer to show off a little more leg for the camera.
In response, the presenter could be heard saying: “Oh my God, you’d never say that to a man.
“Don’t be a d**k otherwise I’ll move off. Don’t say ‘Show me leg.’ No.”

The actor shook her head before walking off and sharing more heated words with the photographer.
Following the exchange being posted on social media, fans of the star have come out in their droves to praise the way she handed the situation.
One user of X, formerly known as Twitter, took to the micro-blogging platform and wrote: “I could not love her more! I absolutely LOVE that she stands her ground and will not let people treat her like crap.”
A second said: “Damn rude photographer. I’m glad she called him out! And I’m glad her friend Michael Ball was there to give her a hug; I’m sure she needed it in that moment.”

“And that is why she is QUEEN,” replied another.
A fourth viewer said: “The snapper wanted her to show some leg and she politely said he wouldn’t ask a man to do that. Good for her. Creepy old man.”

Before becoming the main host of the Olivier Awards in 2023, Hannah previously attended the celebration of West End theatre as a nominee.
In 2007, she received her first nod for her role as the Lady of the Lake in Spamalot.
She has since received two more nominations for acting in shows A Little Night Music and Kiss Me, Kate.
Despite her extensive theatre career, Hannah is probably best known for her on-screen roles in Game of Thrones, Sex Education and Ted Lasso.
Last year, she also served as co-host for the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool.
