Despite a societal surge in cross-generational relationships in recent years, Holland Taylor confessed she still holds some reservations about her age-gap romance with significantly younger partner, Sarah Paulson.
The Two And A Half Men actress is 81-years-old, whilst her other-half - American Horror Story front-woman Paulson - is just 49, with the loved-up duo boasting a 32-year difference in age.

Despite her recent admission, Taylor has been in a committed relationship with Paulson since early 2015 - a decade after they first met at a Hollywood party.
In the years that followed their first public appearance, the couple have ceaselessly gushed over one another during red carpet interviews.
Earlier this year, Oceans 8 icon Paulson even went as far as to dish the dirt on what she believes makes their relationship so strong after all these years.
Appearing on the Smartless podcast, the silver-screen star opened up about her Mrs, claiming living separately is their secret to keeping romance alive.

"We don’t live together," she admitted at the time. "Holland and I, we spend plenty of time together but we don’t live in the same house.
"We’ve been together for a long time now and I think part of it has to do with, we’re together when we wanna be and we’re not when we don’t."
Despite Paulson's emotional confession, it sounds as though Taylor still harbours some concern about the nature of their relationship.

"We do have a wonderful resonance," she firstly began. "We are very interested in the same kinds of things and yet we share big differences.
"I mean, we have a big generational difference between us, which worries me for her sake. But she, you know, what can I do?"
Taylor continued: "A lot of the things that she’s going through that are very emotional and important to her right now, I went through, you know, 40 years ago, 30 years ago."
"And she brings them up in my memory and I think, 'Oh, of course this is hard. Of course, that’s hard,' or 'Of course that’s great. Of course, that’s important to her.'"

Despite Taylor's concerns, Paulson seemingly disagrees, and in a heartfelt tribute issued to her partner on the red carpet of this year's Emmy Awards earlier this week, she couldn't have been prouder of her recent achievements.
Admitting to being happy to be able to 'hold her purse' for one of the biggest nights in TV - which saw Taylor nominated for her recent role in The Morning Show.
"Holland has been my absolute rock and has been with me in all of these things for many years and tonight I'm the girl that gets to hold her purse," American Crime Story actress Paulson told carpet host Laverne Cox on Live From E! Emmys earlier this week.

"My nomination was last weekend, she's the Primetime Emmy nominee, and I feel very honoured to be standing here."
