Isla Fisher appears to have made a thinly veiled jab at her ex-husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, in a new commercial.
The actor, who shares three children with Cohen, announced their separation via social media in April of this year, leaving fans shocked.
The pair first got together in 2001 and tied the knot in 2010. Their relationship was incredibly private, so nobody suspected that a separation was in the works until the post came.
Fisher announced the end of her 14-year marriage to the Borat actor, sharing a bizarre image of the two wearing matching tennis outfits.

She wrote: “After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down.
“We forever share in our devotion and love for our children.
“In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage.
“We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.”

Now, her latest airline commercial for Air New Zealand has left fans raving.
In the ad, the 48-year-old can be seen sitting beside a little girl who is flying on her own to meet her dad, having left her mum in Tasmania, Australia.
Eventually, Fisher and the kid get talking and begin to form a cutesy friendship which sees them eating snacks and watching movies.

Then, they even fall asleep on each other’s shoulders.
It’s a heartwarming clip which feels more like a rom-com rather than an advert.
But it’s when they land at a New Zealand airport that the romance truly kicks off, as does Fisher's remark.
The little girl is greeted by her father, who seems to become entranced by Fisher's looks.

The kid, who is now absolutely besotted by the actor, says: “Dad, I made a new friend. Can she come for a playdate sometime?”
He replies: “I’d love that.”
To which Fisher says: “How about now?”

In true romantic fashion, the dad agrees and all three walk away like a happy new family when Fisher asks the child: “Wait, is your dad flying solo, too?”
This is the remark which seems to be a little hint about her single status.
Fans who watched it think so too and loved the romance.
It was so good that one social media user claimed to have thought it was ‘a new movie’.
Another thought it was ‘cute’ and doesn’t care ‘what anyone says’ about it.
Someone else said: “I’d scream if I seen Isla sitting next to me!!!!”
And another commented: “The makings of a great RomCom!”
Let’s be honest, it has all of the hallmarks of a great movie.
It has a child who wants her parents to be happy, a single dad who co-parents his daughter, a slightly weird single female lead and a chance encounter.
Hell, I’d watch it too.
