Rebel Wilson has finally addressed the speculation that she was the reason for Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher’s divorce.
The Borat actor and Wilson worked together on The Brothers Grimsby back in 2016 and, since then, she has opened up about her experiences on set in the memoir, titled Rebel Rising.
A representative for Baron Cohen, who Wilson has called an 'a**hole' in the book, has described the claims as 'demonstrably false', in a statement given to the PA news agency.

In a memoir passage obtained by People Magazine, the 44-year-old Pitch Perfect star alleged that Baron Cohen requested she 'stick her finger up his a**' as he thought it would make a funny scene, yet she said 'it felt like [he] had sexually harassed me'.
Wilson continued: "I was now scared. I wanted to get out of there, so I finally compromised: I slapped him on the a** and improvised a few lines as the character."
She has also claimed the alleged sexual harassment incident with Baron Cohen led to her 'eating issues'.

Since then, a spokesperson for Baron Cohen, 52, vehemently denied mistreating Wilson or pressuring her to go naked.
They said: "While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby."
Following Wilson's claims, 48-year-old Fisher - who played a supporting role in the film as Jodie Figgis - and Baron Cohen announced their split after 20 years of being together.

They took to their Instagram Stories last month (5 April) to announce they shockingly filed for divorce in 2023.
The famed pair had been married since 2010 and share three children together.
Their statement read: "After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage.
"We have always prioritised our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.

"We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy."
Since then, Wilson has revealed that she reckons Baron Cohen and Fisher's divorce didn't have anything to do with her claims.
She did, however, admit the 'timing wasn't great' for Baron Cohen.

Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday (8 May), Wilson explained: "I don’t feel like I’m the reason, but it might have just been his general treatment to women."
She also revealed she has not spoken to Fisher since the divorce announcement but did acknowledge that they 'used to be friends' after working on a film together back in 2012.
"I haven’t spoken to her," Wilson said, before adding: "Obviously, I used to be friends with her before all this happened. We did a movie together called Bachelorette."
