Rebel Wilson has revealed the absolutely shocking pay check she received for her role in Bridesmaids.
The romantic comedy, which first hit our screens back in 2011, took the world by storm after raking in a staggering $306.4 million (roughly £236.2 million) at the box office, and launched several careers from some of Hollywood's biggest names right now.
Joining Wilson, 44, in the star-studded film, were Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCathy, Rose Byrne, Maya Rudolph, Ellie Kemper, and Matt Lucas - just to name a few.

Speaking to Steven Bartlett on his podcast, the Pitch Perfect star has since opened up about her role in Bridesmaids, crediting it as the project which cemented her career in the 'biz.
She also looked back at the small sum of money she was paid to star as Brynn, one of the protagonist Annie's roommates in the film.
Wilson, who revealed in her memoir, Rebel Rising, that she was only paid $3,500 (roughly £2,700) for the role, told Bartlett: "Yeah, that was my first job in America. And, I mean, it was very lucky - what an awesome cracker of a movie to get that.

"But to be paid that little and basically that $3,500 I then had to pay to the union to join the union.
"So basically I made no money."
"I lost money," she continued, "because I had to pay to go to the premiere, like, to buy my dress and everything."
She then explained a 'really skint' year before the film hit cinemas, adding: "So I lost money doing Bridesmaids.

"And then you have to wait, it normally takes a whole year when you film a movie, for the movie to be released.
"So that was a really skint year where I was living on $60 a week in LA once I paid my rent and my car hire, and that's not a lot of money."
Looking back at that time admitting she 'wasn't partying' or living a typical A-lister lifestyle, Wilson reflected: "It was basically just having that focus, trying to write for myself, like going to auditions.

"And I had to wait a whole year 'til Bridesmaids came out, and then suddenly it comes out and it's this big hit, and I booked six movies off the back of it - one of which was Pitch Perfect, which was kind of my real golden ticket."
Fans clearly couldn't wait to share their shock over the news with one Instagram user writing: "Such an important message to share so people see the truth behind the scenes."
"That's wild because that movie wouldn't even be very funny without her!" claimed another.
A final fan echoed: "WHAT?!!! She made that movie for me. I can’t even believe it."
