Jennifer Lopez described herself as a 'lover' at a Kamala Harris rally just days before her ex-husband Ben Affleck spoke publicly about their divorce.
After rekindling their love years on from their first relationship in 2004, 'bennifer' fans were hopeful that the two would finally last forever.
Despite this, news broke this summer that Lopez had filed for divorce just two years after they got wed.

Affleck has not addressed the split publicly since reports first came out, but it became tricky to avoid after the former couple had worked on the film Unstoppable together.
While Affleck produced the drama, Lopez starred as the leading lady, which made their divorce the elephant in the room during any promo for the movie.
Despite presumable tensions, Affleck spoke very highly of his former flame during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.

He said: "Unstoppable is a very different movie...Goldenberg and Jennifer and Don Cheadle and Jharrel, and Bobby Cannavale - all were really passionate about this film."
Affleck added: "Jennifer is spectacular."
Having previously opened up about the divorce, Jlo also talked about 'love' during a recent appearance at a Kamala Harris rally, ahead of this year's US election.
Wiping a tear away as she spoke candidly, the star said: "This is the most important stage I've ever been on.

"We are on the brink of an election that demands a choice; a choice between backwards and forwards, a choice between past and future, a choice between divided and united."
She added: "I'm a lover, I am not a fighter, I am not here to trash anyone or bring them down."
The star paused for a second to collect herself, before continuing: "I promised myself I wouldn't get emotional, but you know what? We should be emotional."

She addressed the voters, saying: "We should be upset; we should be scared and outraged.
"Our pain matters. We matter, you matter; your voice and your vote matter."
She is just one of many celebrities that have made appearances at American rallies during this election season.
Elon Musk, Beyonce and Cardi B are others that have made their stances known.

Prior to the rally, Lopez spoke about her split from Affleck, calling it the 'hardest time' of her life.
Speaking to Interview Magazine, she said: "You have to be good on your own.
"I thought I learned that, but I didn’t. And then, this summer, I had to be like, 'I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that'."
