JoJo Siwa has revealed what 'instantly drew' her to Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chris Hughes during a brand-new podcast appearance.
The 21-year-old Dance Moms star and the 32-year-old Love Islander formed a very tight friendship on Celebrity Big Brother - something which has since sparked mass speculation online.
The rumour mill only heated up even further after JoJo's now-ex-partner, Kath Ebbs, revealed that she'd broken up with them at the show's wrap party over the weekend.

And then, in an episode of This Morning today (28 April), JoJo and Chris sat down to discuss their friendship, with the former revealing that she did, in fact, end things with Kath at the party after telling them she 'wasn't happy' in the relationship.
And now, the latest update in the saga sees JoJo speak up about her bond with Chris on the latest episode of The Useless Hotline hosted by Max Balegde and George Clarke.
"What do you think it was that instantly drew you to him?" Max asked, to which JoJo responded: "We're very similar. We're very similar in our energy, in our outlook on life.

"It was early on, it was the first Saturday night and he was kind of feeling a little rough and we got in on Tuesday so it was pretty pretty early on."
She continued: "He said, 'I'm always on, right, and I have a big personality but I feel like at home, you know, I do turn off and I you know have my moments alone and I just watch TV and in here, you know, I'm constantly around somebody. So I want to be I want to be big, I want to be but I don't have that time'."

JoJo carried on: "As he said that, I was like 'whoa no one's ever related to that before' and it was about him and I wanted to leave it but I wanted to say to him like 'I'm feeling the exact same way' or maybe I did mention that to make him not feel as lonely in that feeling but yeah I think we're very similar.

"We get comfort in similar ways, we just want to have fun in life."
Continuing to share her experiences on the reality TV show, JoJo said: "What made it so special is Chris was there for me at my lowest times and I was there for him at his lowest.
Adding that Chris being the only housemate to defend JoJo following Mickey Rourke's homophobic remarks against her, JoJo recalled thinking: "Oh he's a good man."
"To do that on day two! You don't know me, you don't know that that's really hurtful and he did and he offered to swap the beds and then he had another conversation with Mickey after like even double-downing explaining why that's not okay and he really he took on that role responsibly and it was beautiful to see," she went on.
"And so I think that like obviously people say what they want to say about people but that showed Chris' true personality.

"And it was beautiful to see."
Continuing the praise, JoJo said: "I mean he is somebody that I would want my children to be like. He's such a great gentleman, he is also just hilarious and a good ball of fun and yeah he just... I don't know he's a special guy like he really has such a great lovely side of him that I think you know maybe the world doesn't see as often as they should."
When asked about whether she thought Chris was being 'flirtatious' with her, JoJo assured: "I think all playful banter, yeah I really do. We have a great banter.
"It was fairly immediate, it's like two peas in a pod like it just clicked."

Opening up about how 'low' the whole Mickey situation made her feel, JoJo explained: "In those early days [on the show] you have no mental comfort and so, yeah. he gave me incredible physical comfort and I think as a human sometimes a hug, a back scratch can go so far."
And as for the speculation online?
Well, JoJo said: "Yeah it's funny that people questioned if it was [flirtatious]. Chris and I are a purely platonic friendship. We have a very special bond."
