Khloé Kardashian has opened up about the tragic little-known truth about the death of her dad, Robert Kardashian.
Robert passed away aged 59 from oesophageal cancer in 2003, four years before the hit reality TV series Keeping Up with the Kardashians aired, which would go on to change the lives of the Kar-Jen family forever.
Khloé, now 40, was just 19 years old at the time of her father's passing and, in a recent episode of her Khloé in Wonderland podcast, she opened up about why she felt so 'incredibly angry' about Robert’s death for 'about three years' afterward.
In the episode, the mum-of-two spoke to grief expert David Kessler and opened up about how, when filming the first ever season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, a producer allegedly made her film an interview talking about her dad.

She began: "For about three years, I was incredibly angry."
"I was filming my show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and in season one, I remember one of my producers was making me do an interview about my dad ‘cause I wouldn’t talk about my dad," Khloé carried on.
"At that time, if I spoke about him, I would just break down," the Good American founder continued,

"I was so annoyed at this producer. I was like, 'Why are they making me sit in this dark room and talk about something I don’t wanna talk about?'"
The experience, however, brought about quite the unexpected result.
"It was as if a house got lifted off of me after that conversation," she continued.
"I was kicking and screaming while doing it, but as soon as I had that conversation - that was the last time that I cried when talking about my dad, in a bad way."

Speaking of the producer's alleged actions, Kessler said: "I say people need to do this in their own time, in their own way, so I wish you would have had more choice in that," adding, 'somehow the camera, the audience, became a safe place for you to talk.'
It was this interview which allowed Khloé to 'let go of all of this guilt and anger' as she added: "Now I can talk about my dad with smiles and happiness and admiration and understanding."
She also assured fans that she is now 'at peace' with her father’s death more than 20 years later and can often feel his presence in her life.
