Kanye West has threatened his ex-wife Kim Kardashian with 'war' in alleged texts he shared on X.
The reported dispute centres on a new song that Kanye has released in collaboration with disgraced rap star Sean 'Diddy' Combs, which also features the voice of his and Kim's eldest daughter North West.
Titled 'Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine', the track also stars Diddy's son King Combs.

Kanye, 47, shared the new single on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday (14 March) for the first time, writing: "LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE new song by PUFF DADDY feat. His son KING COMBS my daughter NORTH WEST and new Yeezy artist from Chicago Jasmine Williams."
Prior to sharing the track, however, the 'Stronger' musician is said to have shared since-deleted screengrabs of a private text conversation between him and Kim Kardashian. The former couple divorced in 2022.
They were married for seven years, and share four children together - daughters North, 11, and Chicago, seven, and sons Saint, nine, and Psalm, five.

According to TMZ - the first outlet to report on the alleged text messages - Kanye appears to tell Kim, 44: "I’m never speaking with you again."
The reality TV star then seemingly replies of their eldest: "I asked you at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes.
"When she's 18, it goes to her. So stop."
Kim allegedly continued: "I sent paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her. One person has to trademark!"

In a follow-up message, The Kardashians star explains that she and Kanye agreed to trademark all of their children's names when they were born 'so no one else would [use] them.'
Kanye - who has since married Australian model Bianca Censori - then seemingly replies in the messages: "Amend it or I'm going to war.
"And neither of us will recover from the public fallout."

Another statement of his warns Kim: "You're going to have to kill me."
The exchange has sparked mass sympathy for Kim online, with many commending her for still attempting to reason with Kanye, despite him collaborating with Combs, who is currently awaiting trial in prison for a plethora of charges - including sex trafficking and racketeering.
"Why would he use his children on a Diddy song… this is actually disgusting," one hit out on X.
Another wrote of the mother-of-four: "Kim seems like a pretty reasonable co-parent and puts up with so much s**t. This isn’t normal and must be so horrible and frightening to endure."

A third went on: "I’m with Kim on this one honestly.. even tho her wanting to trademark her kids' names is disgusting within itself, but I can see why so they’d be protected from someone else TM it."
The new track hears the 55-year-old Combs saying down the phone: "I wanna just thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man. Ain't nobody reach out to them, ain't nobody call."
Kanye then replies in the single: "Absolutely, I love you so much man. You raised me. Even when I ain't know you, know what I'm saying?"
Elsewhere in the song, North can be heard rapping: "When you see me shining, then you see the light."
