Kate Garraway's husband Derek Draper is reportedly fighting for his life after suffering a huge heart attack.
Due to contracting Coronavirus in March 2020, former political lobbyist Derek, 56, has since faced a series of serious health challenges.
As well as previously being put into a medically-induced coma, the father-of-one has been readmitted to hospital on multiple occasions for the likes of kidney failure, brain inflammation and liver damage.

He had previously spent over a year on hospital wards but now receives around-the-clock care on the ground floor of the couple’s London home.
A source told The Sun: “Everyone is praying for a miracle.
“Derek suffered a massive heart attack earlier this week which has left him fighting for his life all over again.
“It was sudden and a shock as he had been doing so well and was in great spirits, looking forward to Christmas at home with the family.

“This setback has been a huge blow for his family and all the people caring for him."
She has reportedly cancelled all upcoming TV and radio work to keep a 24-7 vigil by his bedside.
The insider continued: “Derek has fought so many times, and always, against all odds, come out the other side.

“Kate has been utterly incredible — by his side while being an amazing mum to Darcey and Billy, and trying to manage their expectations of a family Christmas.”
Appearing on Loose Women on 23 November, the ITV star announced: "He's actually back in the hospital at the moment.
“I haven't talked about this, but not the horrific drama fortunately, because there have been lots of, as we all experience, referrals and cancellations.”

She added that he had been remitted due to something which had began ‘last year’ which he needed the ‘second part of’.
In an interview with the Sunday Times, Kate said that Derek had developed a ‘weird choking’ condition during a carer handover.
"It happened again just last weekend," she said at the time. "For absolutely no reason he just went blue.”
She went on to say that he ‘sort of vomited’ after the incident and that she knew they had ‘a really near miss’.
