Khloé and Kim Kardashian are being accused of hypocrisy amid the raging Los Angeles wildfires, which have destroyed more than 12,000 homes, schools and structures since erupting last week.
Last week, a wildfire erupted in the Palisades neighbourhood of LA, which according to the BBC has now burnt through more than 23,000 acres of land.
Other fires have since sprung up across California, with the Eaton blaze proving the most deadly, causing at least 16 of the 25 confirmed fatalities.
Celebrities like Star Wars actor Mark Hamill and Travis Barker’s children Landon and Alabama Barker are among the thousands of residents who have been evacuated.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, Braveheart’s Mel Gibson and Cameron Mathison have all confirmed to have lost their homes in the raging wildfires, with Paris Hilton also admitting she watched her abode burn down ‘live on TV’.
Amid the infernos, celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis and Sebastian Stan have been using television appearances to raise awareness and support their local community.
However, some famous faces are under fire amid the blaze - including Khloé Kardashian.
In 2022, the city imposed strict water-conserving measures so there could be a reserve to utilise emergencies like the ongoing wildfires.

However, in publicly available information obtained by the LA Times, it’s understood the mother-of-two used around 101,000 gallons more water than she should have at her mansion in the Hidden Hills.
Criticism for allegedly flouting water restrictions initially landed after Khloé, 40, used her Instagram account to slam LA mayor Karen Bass as a 'joke'.
She made the remark whilst sharing a video of Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin Crowley, who told Fox 11 Los Angeles that budget cuts compromised the department’s abilities to fight the wildfires.

"I stand by YOU Chief Crowley!!!! You spoke the truth and you had tears in your eyes because I can tell you didn’t even want to say that but it was THE TRUTH,” the Good American businesswoman wrote via Instagram.
"Thank you for being honest. Mayor Bass, you are a joke!!!!"
In response, a viral post on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: "Instead of Khloe Kardashian talking b*****it about Mayor Karen Bass, people should be talking about how she and her sister used an excess of over 300,000 gallons of water in just one month during a drought. How about the water waster just STFU."

Someone else commented: "They are the reason the city has no water for the common people but have the nerve to criticize the mayor smh."
And another social media user typed: "Wonder where all of our water went? Kardashian Greed! No wonder our land is burning."
Tyla has contacted representatives of Khloé Kardashian for further comment.

Khloés older sister Kim, 44, has also recently been branded ‘entitled’ by neighbours for allegedly going over water meters less than three years after water-conserving measures were put into place throughout LA.
Kim previously received a fine for using 232,000 gallons more than her allocated amount at her Oaks property, as per the LA Times.
A neighbour of The Kardashians star told press this week: "These celebrities have a sense of entitlement. Everyone was told to cut back on water precisely for this situation, to preserve it to fight fires. They carried on watering because they could afford the fines."
Tyla has previously contacted Kim's representatives for comment.
